Flaming Fall Wine Tour & Dinner

Oct 15, 2011

Please join us for a colorful country tour of two local wineries. We will depart from the Spfd Porsche dealership at 2:00 pm. We will do a “fly by” the Spfd Branson Airport. The 1st winery we will stop at is 7C’s Winery in Walnut Grove. www.7cswinery.com. They have a nice gift shop. After a tour and wine tasting we drive to OOVVDA Winery, north of Spfd on Glenstone. www.oovvda.com. We will enjoy another tour and wine tasting. Both places have picnic areas and you are encouraged to bring your own cheese & crackers or picnic lunch to enjoy between the samplings. If you purchase a bottle of wine while there and enjoy a glass, they will re-cork the bottle.

We should have beautiful fall colors on the trees. Weather and time permitting, we might drive by the Nathan Boone Homestead Historic Site in Ash Grove. Nathan was Daniel Boone’s son, log house  was built in 1837.  http://mostateparks.com/park/nathan-boone-homestead-state-historic-site.

We might have to call this the Boone’s Farm wine tour? Ha!

We will then head to Metropolitan Grill on 2931 E Battlefield St, Springfield, MO 65804, (417) 889-4951. Social hour starts at 6 pm and dinner at 7 pm. http://www.metropolitan-grill.com
